What’s going on

In this heart of mine

When I see you

It speeds up

When I meet you

It feels so good

It feels so nice

Yet, this heart is stubborn

Has problems letting go of the past

It struggles to move on

It doesn’t want to forget him

It refuses to move past and go on

Is it fear of the unknown

That keeps me in the old

Is it the faint of heart

Or the heart in my mouth

That makes me play it cool

That makes me look like I couldn’t care less
